You will likely be speaking with Dan, our service manager, when you call us. Before joining Flying Dog Garage in 2011, he served in the army, and later worked as a regional manager for a telecommunications carrier for ten years. He and Greg met in 2007, when an auto shop was looking to take advantage of him. Greg's honesty about what actually needed to be repaired saved Dan quite a sum of money. While conversing, Greg noticed a bicycle on his key chain and suggested they go biking sometime, which started a close friendship that has lasted to this day. Dan was hired for his people skills, eagerness to learn, and strong desire to keep our customers happy.
Dan is happily married to a detective for Kalamazoo Public Safety, Kristin, and has two daughters, Helena and Eliana. When he's not building awesome playhouses for his daughters, Dan enjoys running, cycling, riding his 1999 Triumph Thunderbird Sport and fixing up his 1980 Yamaha XS 650.
